I need some help. I have a Lc1 Wideband. I use the Serial input of ectune. Motor is bolt on b16a with Type R cams. Now i started a New Map to tune part throttle. Tuned is mostly to 15:1 AFR Part Throttle. Now i had a previously tuned WOT map, I switched over to the map to race somebody. Now after the race, i switched back to the part throttle map and the AFR is VERY LEAN, Like one full point leaner in some places. I Do not know where to look again. Someone Please Help me. LC1 Power goes to ECU power, and Ground to Ecu Ground.

AIT Sensor is not installed inside my intake tube, but inside engine bay hanging. Because i do not have a place to put it in the intake tube. AIT reads 150F ECT is 200F Now sometimees TPS at 0% reads .47V Sometimes it goes .51V For itself. Any ideas why the tps might do this?
nope not TPS more like IAT sensor reading wrong values

my guess on that would be grounds (bad ground will raise and lower the voltage across two points) or sticky throttle body (doesn't allow the butterfly to close entirely every time) or bad TPS.
Ok, now i realize my tune is being messed up because tuning at diff IAT. Now the question is, How much hotter do the TEMPS run with it in the engine bay, than inside the intake tube?

This is really an impossible question to answer. It would all depend on a number of factors. Like ambient temp, speed, exact placement of the sensor, placement of intake duct etc. /Allan

I live in the caribbean so temps are like 28-36Degrees at any given day. The sensor is placed in the engine bay, just behind the transmission under the intake manifold.

today i drilled a hole and put in a grommet and in goes the iat sensor. But sometimes when i idle, i read 133 Degrees F. And the ecu still makes corrections. Anyone have any idea's or what i should check?
The ecu will always correct on IAT! On a certain point you can see a correction of 0 but normally its always correcting. Thats why its so important that the sensor is in the right spot. When the engine is idling the IAT can climb up. The airspeed is very low in the intake so it has a lot of time to get heated by the radiator heat. Did you changed the IAT table?

No i have not changed the IAT tables. The temps i am experiencing, is this normal? As much as 133 Degrees F ? I am having trouble getting my part throttle spot on. When i make changes to one area of the map, should i clear the map to see the updated changes? My afr fluctuates so much! sometimes idle at different temperatures it goes 14.7 and as lean as 16.0
