new eCtune user and some questions
hello,i am spanish eCtune user,i have a built b16 civic with: -pctx pistons -ported head -skunk2 pro valve train -skunk2 pro valves high comp -skunk2 pro1 camshafts -skunk2 pro cam gears, in-98º,ex-105º -skunk2 pro intake manifold -blox 70mm throtlle body -apexi intake, with custom air box -tri-y headers big tube -custom 2,5¨ catback, with apexi n1 silencer -11,1-1 c/r -acl race series bearings -fidanza flywheel -exedy stg 1 clunch well,I've been working so far with crome pro,and my results is 202hp at 8600 rpm,but the car isnt good in low rpm,and idle. I bought the license ectune, and I started working this morning with the progam. the car is now much better, having taken a 30 per cent of gasoline in the idle area, but when i put the light,or the fan turn on,the car tends to stop. what is the proper procedure to get a proper idle in any condition? my idle target is 900rpm,i run wiht stock 240cc injectors, and my idle area is arround 520mbr-610mbr. why the idle area start in 800-900mbr?¿ in cold starts, arround 15ºc sorry for my english.

I would think you are pushing those stock 240cc injectors pretty hard for 202whp. Another thing you might want to consider also on a slightly unrelated subject is your compression is a little higher then 11:1 with CTR pistons in a B16 block. Don't forget to account for the piston to deck height which isn't the same as it is with stock B16 pistons. You will find your compression a goode deal higher when you figure this into things. As for the problems you listed, as others have said, its your battery offsets it sounds like. I had a very similar issue with my car until I got the offsets correctly dialed in. Just turn on different items (headlights, defroster, heater fan motor) and hit the different areas in the chart and make adjustments accordingly. You will need a good reference baseline so make sure the car is completely warm and find out where your idle normally sits on the wideband. When you make the adjustments to the battery offset tables, get as close to that number as you can. Hope this helps.

you will have less vaccum with those cams so your best bet is to idle the car a bit higher like 1100 or so.. The reason is that when you turn on any accesory that places a load on the motor its gonna drag the motor down slightly.. Also your IACV duty is way to low.. If you have to put it that low then you have another problem somwhere.. With the duty that low it won't react fast enough to compensate for accesory load..
