Setting up boost solenoid

Post by confUsed »

So I finally got a chance to play with the ebc solenoid in the car yesterday. I set it up like the instructions says, #1 port connected to boost source, #2 source connected to top of the wg. Its a p28 ecu, and one of the wires from the solenoid is connected to 12v, the other to a11. I tried it before I started the car, and it clicks like it should when I set the duty to 50%. Once on the road, I hit boost cut like a wall at 0% duty. I tested different settings, and the only way I made it work is to set the solenoid to NO in the solenoid setting. I seems like its working now, I just wonder if I have done something wrong, or if its a bug? Does this mean that the ecu is grounding a11 all the time when not in boost? Could this lead to overloading something? I'll attach the cal and a log with a couple pulls.

I havent tried on the newest update, but as for the last one the settings were switched. Calvin knows of the issue and it is supposed to be fixed. As long as it works normal, dont worry about it.
