so if injector offset is discontinued in the new rom, i will have to get my car to idle manually by tweaking the map? On boosted setups do you guys check disable ignition correction above 1031mbar? So what about overall fuel trim, will that be the easiet way in order to get the tune to idle upon startup? Do i also want to disable PCS under purge valve settings? i run a catch can and eliminated the black box and pcv valve...

The overall fuel trim is for compensating engine capacity, compression ratio and/or fuel pressure etc. So when you are using a bigger engine than the base rom was intended for, use the overall trim to correct this. a lot of guys use it to get the idle part right also, but I use it only to get the biggest part of the map right. I tune the idle part manualy. Like this you have the less work to get the maps right. Just how you look at it
yes, you can disable ignition corrections and also disable purge.

Idle your car correctly is the basic. tuning will go from there. Never select small portions of the map(1 cell) select bigger area's when you begin tuning. Remember most of the time if e.g. 400 mbar 3000 rpm is lean on a new basemap 1031 mabr and 4000 rpm will also be lean. So you select big parts of the map to get your afr dialed in. Later you will fine tune.

Do it in small portions, it sounds like your overwhelming yourself.. give yourself a set state and start from there.. When i tune i usually start cars at 2k rpms and go to 4k and tune that portion.. I also start by tuning WOT first, and when i'm done i move the partion throttle maps up to under the WOT maps and fine them down or up, which ever it needs.. There's a ton of writeups on tuning.. if u need anymore help, pm me, i could walk u through some of it as well via a phone or a email.
