Hi i check your new cal i've found FV=0??? so you didn't adjust your injector calibration it's the first step let the car ideling with WB hooked up and adjust with the injector cal tool under tools you should ideling at 14,7 afr after this, put electrical load and adjust your battery offset to hold your 14,7 afr after you will need to tune the whole map regards

When I enabled wideband as closeloop, it didn't add any aditional fuel value. That's why I left it at zero. But what would you suggest I add as a fuel value? The injector voltage tables are somewhat adjusted, I did by putting more electrical load on the car a little more at a time. I know some guys take the alternator belt off, but I haven't gone that route......

On the datalog, when increasing throttle slowly from like 4% to like 10%, that's when it happens. It only occurs when on that low throttle. If I'm at 12% and steadly increase to about 18%, afr's do lean out, but there is no jerking what so ever, it only occurs at low throttle, and in between 1500-3000rpm. It will start bucking over 3000rpm, but it's not very noticeable. It's kind of hard to describe. Any other tips that you guys might have? At this point I'll try anything. I've done so many different setups. The car does have Hasport mounts, that's the last cause I could think of.It's very upsetting though. Relic1, if this weekend is good for you, let's meet up and conversate tuning, economy, astrology, and politics!!!!!! Thanks................

I installed another version of ectune just to try it out, and nothing. Here's more things that I found. -----as previously stated, there's a problem with both base p72 roms/maps. If some one can take a look and see.. -----my version of ectune(maybe pro_ostrich versions, could be just nine) has problems. Maybe my whole problem could be to the fact that TIP IN and TIP OUT FUEL TRIM DOES NOT WORK!!!!! I tried 10, 20, 30,50, 100, -10,-20,-30,-50,and -100 fuel tip in and it made no difference. Is there a way to adjust those settings? -----i saw there's a lot of options under ectune settings, like overlay afrs. Can some one help me change those settings? Is there some other settings I can change? Sorry, I'm ectune illeterate! Thanks

I'm thinking that you're right, but trust me, I've changed so many things(one at a time) to see if the slight jerking would stop. relic1 even went as far a creating a new cal using his version of ectune, just to see if it would help, but nothing. It's very hard to explain, but I'll try. Imagine that you're on 4th gear, at around 2000rpm. You're cruising at 30mph, regular city traffic. Suddenly, you want to pick up speed because the speed limit is now 40mph. Throttle is about at 4%. You increase throttle in between 1% a second(yeah, even that slow causes the car to jerk), to about 10% a second. Even if afr's dont change that much, from like 14.0 to 14.7-15.4afr, for just an instant, the car does a small jerk. It only does it at low throttle. If throttle is say at 15%, if throttle increases slow, or fast, the jerking is non-existant. The car drives real smooth, pretty much like stock, but with 3-step, full throttle shifting, adjustable idle, etc.
If the car settup wasn't being a little b*tch, I would be a happy camper. For everyone out there that's real picky about driveability, you will absolutely understand my feelings...

just to clarify, I made a new cal using the free version of eCtune on a computer here at work. I don't want to violate any terms with the licensing with my pro version... I'm not sure if it matters, or if Calvin would even care, I want to state that just in case. I'm with Bugermass and Gaskleppie, Tip in and out are seldom touched. I only had to pull a tiny bit from both when I was having fuel regulator issues. you have my number.
this is my $0.02, keep in mind that I can't spell

closeloop can work backwards if you select wideband closeloop.(narrow band volt up is lean, wideband volt up is rich)Gaskleppie wrote:Try to make a new rom. Save the table's and load them in a new clean program. Set all setting right and start again. It could be something in your .cal Yesterday I had a similar issue. (closed loop was working backwards!) Saved the tables, started all over again. 5 minutes work, and all was working like a charm!
