your fuel cut can be set in the fuel cut parameters window. I disable fuel cut and tune tip out/deceleration. but to change that number, double click on it.

ok, i changed that number to 195 mbar, that is a round about reading on deceleration, but could you go a little more in depth about what you are saying about the tip out? here is a screen shot of my tip out. what should it be around? could you give me an idea of what it should be? thanx

you have to tune the engine and setup everything to where it needs to be. Datalog then analyze the data and make changes. Then go back out and datalog again until its where it needs to be. how do you know fuel cut is not working correctly? Have you datalogged to find out where its cutting or not cutting? Or are you just guessing? Tip out is the fueling the engine receives the second your TPS input decreases. TUNE IT. These problems you are having should go away once the software is setup properly to your engine. Read the help files if you are unsure of something and search the forum. There is an abundance of useful information here.

pretty much input. you said that you did a fresh install, and rebooted, as regards to your dataloging issue(I know, wrong topic, but accidentaly started here). just wondering what is it that you did exactly, I'm having some issues of my own. I'm thinking that doing what you did could probably resolve the trouble I'm having. Thanks...

I've been running around with no fuel cut for the last 2 months because apparently no one can figure it out.

Here's a link to topic: http://forum.ectune.com/viewtopic.php?t=2321 Long story shorth, there seems to be a small jerking issue with the car, not sure if it's ectune, or me, or the car. But a fresh install and reboot like you did might do the trick. That's why I asked if you could tell me how you went about reinstalling stuff.... As for the fuel cut problem, I have ran my car with no fuel cut, and it would decelerate well. As long as your decel is tuned, it should have no issues. just datalog your decel. That should tell you the mbar your decelerating....

I was having the decel problem before so I don't know if doing a fresh install Will help you. Prety much you just have to tune it as I gather. Colume 1 on my map was at -70 and on decel my map is reading about 185 so I changed Colume 1 to 180 but I haven't had a chance to drive it since. As soon as I do I will post On how it did. If found a topic about it and calvin said that 90% of the time your decel Problems can be tuned in columes 1 and 2, so I'm going to give that a try, My map stays in colume 2 during idle and on decel so it think that the value for Colume 1 is my main problem, let me try that first and I will let you know before trying To reinstall.

2bfi, what kind of set up do you have? I will try your fuel cut setting, but Are you also tuning it by colume 1 to adjust how much fuel to take away? Someone else on this topic was talking about tuning the tip out settings and disabling The fuelcut. Ill try the fuel cut first. Anyone else got any ideas?

jpjackson, the set up is a JDM ITR engine with a Jackson Racing SC & LHT intercooler. Injectors are 440cc/min. Columns are in inHg. 1st column was not tuned for tipout. I can't really remember why I added to it. It might be to prevent jerking when the fuel cuts in and out during light throttle low rpm situations.
