Switching from CromePro Dealer to Ectune . few questions.

Post by 9400RPMS »

The program, i've been studying for awhile.. wayyyyy more in depth obviously. Few questions tho.. 1) When creating a new basemap, there was a certain way i set the injector setup in crome.. In ectune there's a battery offset now, would i just leave that to \"stock\" E.I. = acura integra per say? Cause i tried putting it on RC eng 440cc 13phms and it would just flood out the car basically.. so should i just leave it set to stock integra, although i'm using 440ccs? Is there pretty much anything else thats buggy going on that needs to be fixed, because so far so good, its pretty much not a big difference to me, and its easy to learn, i spent about a good week just learning the keys and all the stuff the program has the offer.. I just switched over to new cams and i figured it was a good time to switch to ectune, besides, i had to do some minor testing anyway.. Thank calvin for all your help btw... really do apperciate it.

When you mean flooding it out, does the car run? the big thing to do once you first load your basemap is to start the car and tune the base injector offset which is what I think you are missing. Once you actually tune the offset, then you can turn on the accessories/unplug the alternator in order to tweak the battery offsets for the car.
