Problems with ectune on vista.

I just installd ectune on my new laptop which has vista as the operatng system.everything installed correctly and i got my new lic from calvin and installed that aswell.i started making a basemap for my setup and when i was finished i got the error at the basemap creator, \"unhandled exception has occured\".i hit continue and now the basemap i just crated is the but there is a big red x in the graph box.i did so searching on this but i could'nt find too much alltho im still searching.any help would be appreciated. Im also thinking it might be the .net framework on this laptop.

could be every related to .net frame work.. if you disabled UAC all should be good

code is encrypted can't tell where that happens.... hit me on AIM or SKYPE or MSN... then i can debug it.. but it's def something with your laptop / windows

Im still waiting for an email back from you.What i did in the meantime was,uninstalled ectune and .net framework v3.5 \"sp1\"that was on the comp? which i thought was causing the problems.i reinstalled ectune and it promted me to get .net framework and i down loaded the 3.0 version after that i made a new basemap and it did the same thing.Also when i run force update it takes a long time like 5 min and when i start up ectune it says to \"run force update within a week cause the version i have is gonna expire\"?Im about to reformat this comp and put xp pro on it but i dont want to i kinda like vista. What version of .net framework should i have with vista? Calvin my email add is [email protected]

well i uninstalled .net freamework and reinstalled ectune.when i start the ectune preogram i get this message, "unable to find assembly'ectune,version=0.0.2.1,cultur=neutral,publickeytoken=6ab39c1170c85a55'.

did you use the setup file and ran the force update after? i don't think the force update runs... setup is a old version correct 0.0.2.1 but should auto update after install to 0.0.2.2 r2

i ran the one with the .net framework install on it.and i also tried the other one that does'nt have .net framework but it will redirect you to the .net framework website.I must be doing something wrong...Is there a special way to install ectune on a vista operating system?

reinstall it, go to program files,right click ectune,click on compatibility run as windows xp and make sure the program is run as admin.try that

well im at the point where it wont even install properly.i get these errors..webupdate failed with error:there is an error in xml document (1,304)..Then it pops up this one.. \"lock system\" native protection system cant find a valid version of a protected .net assembly: ectune,version=0.2.1, culture=neutral,publickey token=6ab39c1170c85a55 Now everytime i try to do a force update it takes like 10 minutes, then it pops up thos errors. any help would be apreciated.
