drop of idling

Post by red_zone »

hello, I have a problem to reach a traffic light or crossing a floor the clutch and idle drops below 700rpm few moments, then returns to its speed to 950 as I have programed.while the car is static there is no problem, just once in a beam and floor the clutch to stop, this problem appears. i dont have fiv.i have mounted a 70mm blox throttle body and skunk2 pro intake manifold, wiht oem iacv, and skunk2 pro1 cams.my lamda reading in this moment is 0.95 aprox. i try to selec the iacv duty to +30%,and persist the problem, and the idle is more high.

If you have an idler screw on the throttle body, unplug the iacv while the car is on, adjust the screw so that it idles around 350-400 rpm, then plug the iacv back in, turn off the car, reset your iavc at 0% in ectune, then turn the car back on, it should idle smooth, blip the throttle and see how far it drops if any, then adjust your iacv controll up and down in ectune and keep blipping the throttle until it doesnt drop anymore. Hope that helps, if you have a light flywheel, it will tend to drop more. Also you can try messing with the tipout as well.

With iacv disconnect set idle to 650 rpm for 750-800 rpm idle
