eCtune, to crome, to eCtune????????????

I've been using eCtune for months, and it is the sh*tnezz. A friend wants me to tune his car with crome, just wants it running so he can sell it. I was trying to use the ostrich with crome, and it wouldn't connect. I saw that there is an eCtune license number with the option to erase. I didnt erase it, want to make sure of things before screwing up. Do I have to erase in order to use the ostrich with crome? And if I do, will reregistering the ostrich be easy, or do I have to send and receive an email? Thanks....

all you need to do is reset vendor(won't clear serial). after that you req license for the ostrich and your ostrich will work again.
