Same Macbook Air laptop but machine ID changed.

I started running eCtune on a Macbook Air under VMware Fusion 1.1.2. Yesterday I upgraded to VMware Fusion 3.0. I noticed the Machine ID changed. Since I run the Demon, it still works. What worries me is, would that be a problem in the future, especially with the recently posted sticky about ECTUNE REGISTRATION OSTRICH / DEMON / MACHINE ID?
