Bunch of stuff I've been saving up..
Cranking fuel somtimes doesn't save if you change it. Also I tried draging in the 2D map and it wasn't working, I know it used to work, not sure why it doesnt any more.. Autosave doesn't seem to be working, mabey I'm doing it wrong I didn't spend too much time trying to get it working.. Since R4, I've been getting random lockups, its only happend once or twice, but it never did that before R4. The fuel multipler thing in basemap creator needs work.. You should be able to select injector size, input fuel pressure and you should be able to crank the car up and have it somwhat idle without having to add huge offsets. S300 acts this way and it works well.. Even with like 1000CC injectors. When doing boost tables, if I use the effeciency box and get the lowcam tables almost right on just with the boost comp, then the high cam is almost always 20-30% lean.. It would be good to come up with a good avg fixed value that it will always apply to high cam, like low cam effeciency % + 25% ... The next few cars I can pay attention to exactly how much difference and we can take an average.. Mabey some of the other tuners can keep track of they extra fueling they are having to add to highcam when using the boost comp to get low cam fueling correct. Also is there a way to make it graph while doing a pull, that way we don't have to stop, save, reopen, and then look at the logs.. It would save some time, if we had realtime graphing. Need to add more options to the dashboard display thing, like you can't display voltage.. I made you a list a while back and sent it to you per your request with all the different things that you can look at in the graph view that you couldn't get on the dashboard.. Also on the dashboard display can you add a button somewhere to clear peak values, so we don't have to right click and clear.. And it doesn't save if you select show peak values... You have to re-enable it every time u open a tune. I think should be a saved setting. OR at least a toggle button on the dashboard next to the clear peak values. Also, It would be nice if there was a folder that we could put basetunes in that we've created, that way say I have a good basmap for a GSR, I can select it in basmap creator, add boost tables and I'm on my way.. Somtimes when you select a group of cells and you + or - it doesn't increment properly, it'll skip values and somtimes certain cells won't even change.. I noticed the problem seems to be effected by the value in settings for the amount of change on increment/decrement.. like if the setting is change by 5%, certain cells won't change in a group, but if I set it to .5% other cells won't change in that same group.. It almost seems to be a rounding, or increment issue.. If I think of more I'll post..

Also I've had a couple customers call me a day or two after I tune their car saying that they get a check engine light.. Nobody seems to be able to actually pull the code though and I\"m not there with the laptop to check it out, but all they have to do it key off then back on and it goes away.. I always use Race Only and just re-enable alternator controll, so theres very few things left enabled that could be throwing a code.. The cars always seem to run perfectly with the CEL on.. and they say it usually comes on after beating on the car a bit ( few hard pulls seems to trip it on boost cars but intermittantly )..

Right about that! I see the same thing. In Vtec it is always way to lean! The fuel multipler thing in basemap creator needs work.. You should be able to select injector size, input fuel pressure and you should be able to crank the car up and have it somewhat idle without having to add huge offsets. Mabey some of the other tuners can keep track of they extra fueling they are having to add to highcam when using the boost comp to get low cam fueling correct.
You can try using the graph which you can choose instead of the 2D graph. Here you can see the AF during the run. Also is there a way to make it graph while doing a pull, that way we don't have to stop, save, reopen, and then look at the logs.. It would save some time, if we had realtime graphing.
There is a folder called \"tuned maps\" You can put them there. Also, It would be nice if there was a folder that we could put basetunes in that we've created, that way say I have a good basmap for a GSR, I can select it in basmap creator, add boost tables and I'm on my way..

Cranking fuel somtimes doesn't save if you change it. -post how to reproduce Also I tried draging in the 2D map and it wasn't working, I know it used to work, not sure why it doesnt any more.. -Dragging works select the node, stand in the middle of it and drag. You will see you % incr/decr Autosave doesn't seem to be working, mabey I'm doing it wrong I didn't spend too much time trying to get it working.. -You enable auto-save? And you select a folder? The fuel multipler thing in basemap creator needs work.. You should be able to select injector size, input fuel pressure and you should be able to crank the car up and have it somwhat idle without having to add huge offsets. S300 acts this way and it works well.. Even with like 1000CC injectors. -Basemap creator i'll add fuelpressure. But the offset will always be there. I'll have a look and think about it When doing boost tables, if I use the effeciency box and get the lowcam tables almost right on just with the boost comp, then the high cam is almost always 20-30% lean.. -I think it has to do with cams? Maybe a separate % for highcam? Also is there a way to make it graph while doing a pull, that way we don't have to stop, save, reopen, and then look at the logs.. It would save some time, if we had realtime graphing. -maybe I can do that for one sensor but not all Need to add more options to the dashboard display thing, like you can't display voltage.. I made you a list a while back and sent it to you per your request with all the different things that you can look at in the graph view that you couldn't get on the dashboard.. battery voltage is on the display BTW(bat) -I’ll work on that list can you resend. So I can make it a todo in my file? Also on the dashboard display can you add a button somewhere to clear peak values, so we don't have to right click and clear.. And it doesn't save if you select show peak values... You have to re-enable it every time u open a tune. I think should be a saved setting. OR at least a toggle button on the dashboard next to the clear peak values. -There are buttons on in the toolbar Also, It would be nice if there was a folder that we could put basetunes in that we've created, that way say I have a good basmap for a GSR, I can select it in basmap creator, add boost tables and I'm on my way.. -You can do that. Make a table export and go to tuned_maps read the readme.txt Somtimes when you select a group of cells and you + or - it doesn't increment properly, it'll skip values and somtimes certain cells won't even change.. I noticed the problem seems to be effected by the value in settings for the amount of change on increment/decrement.. like if the setting is change by 5%, certain cells won't change in a group, but if I set it to .5% other cells won't change in that same group.. It almost seems to be a rounding, or increment issue.. that is possible. -IF you add a value and the added value is to small. I tried solving it multiple times. As to do with column multiplier and added value

Agree...its random.Bugermass wrote:Cranking fuel somtimes doesn't save if you change it.
I get lots of lockups, many times Blue Screen of death as well...nothing to pin point, so I've never bitched.Since R4, I've been getting random lockups, its only happend once or twice, but it never did that before R4.
This has to do with BATTERY OFFSETs or dead time...read the link I posted in another section. The fuel multipler thing in basemap creator needs work.. You should be able to select injector size, input fuel pressure and you should be able to crank the car up and have it somwhat idle without having to add huge offsets. I think we need separate calculations for low and high cam, a check box would be easy. When doing boost tables, if I use the effeciency box and get the lowcam tables almost right on just with the boost comp, then the high cam is almost always 20-30% lean.. It would be good to come up with a good avg fixed value that it will always apply to high cam, like low cam effeciency % + 25% ... Its a code 1...I have at least 3 people bitching about it. O2 sensors completely disabled.

i seem to get the program locked almost every time when im in a hurry. ex. while everything is still connected. when i disconnect everything and then exit i never locks up. as far as cel's go, after i turn the key to on position and wait for the cel to turn off i get 2 quick cel light blinks. nothing shows up on the comp and the car runs jst fine. thats about all i can think of.
