Launch Control gone wild...

The default for the P06 bin set launch control at 4000. I changed this to 4800 so I could lay some twin black patches in front of my shop

The RPM jumps up to about 5500 then chugs for a second and drops down. Didn't get a lot of chances to play with it but maybe someone else can try too. -Michael

Hackish User error.. What did you use TPS based? Most of my ROM features are tested good.. I have been using longer then a year now.

Is it just the tach not updating fast enough? That is one thing I have noticed... even though the datalogger says it's hitting the launch rev limit, the tach isnt reading accurately... Just use TPS based 100X better...

I used VSS based. It's entirely possible that it's a user error or something I missed. I can hear it over-rev before settling down. I'll try to play with it more tonight before I do any customer cars. -Michael
